What is your deposit?

To reserve your session, a non-refundable retainer of 50% of the total session price and any applicable travel fee are due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 24 hours before your session.

Do you travel?

Absolutely! I love traveling to document families throughout Middle Tennessee. There is no travel fee for family sessions in Rutherford County. For locations beyond that, the travel fee is $0.70 per mile (round trip).

How are my photos delivered?

Accepted Answer

Your final images are delivered through a beautiful online gallery where you can view, download, and share your photos with friends and family. You can also order professional-quality prints directly from your gallery or download the files to print wherever you’d like. Galleries remain active for 90 days, so we recommend downloading and backing up your images as soon as they’re delivered.

What is your turnaround time?

Your complete gallery will be delivered within three weeks of your session date, though many galleries are finished even sooner.

When do you typically schedule family sessions?

I offer family sessions on weekdays, typically during the evening for the most flattering natural light. To ensure I can give my wedding couples and my own family my full attention, weekends are reserved for weddings and family time.

Question 6

What if I don’t want my children’s photos posted online or publicly?

Accepted Answer

No worries at all! As a mom, I completely understand. I don’t share my own child online either, so I respect every family’s comfort level when it comes to privacy. Your contract includes the option to opt out of having your images shared publicly, whether that’s for your entire family or just specific family members. Your privacy will always be respected.

Do you use AI to edit your photos?

No, every image is individually edited by me to ensure a consistent, timeless editing style. While AI-assisted tools may occasionally be used for minor tasks such as removing distractions or temporary blemishes, your images are never batch-edited or creatively edited by AI.

Question 8

How do you keep our photos safe?

Accepted Answer

Protecting your memories is one of our highest priorities. I photograph every session using cameras with dual memory card slots, meaning every image is recorded to two cards simultaneously. After your session, your RAW files are immediately backed up to two separate hard drives and securely stored in the cloud. Your memory cards are not formatted until your final gallery has been successfully delivered.

We’re awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?

You’re not alone, almost every person tells us this! My job isn’t to make you model, it’s to help you feel comfortable interacting authentically in front of the camera. I’ll gently guide you with natural prompts and movement so your photos feel genuine rather than overly posed. By the end of your session, it will feel less like a photoshoot and more like spending time with your favorite people while I happen to be documenting it.
