What is your deposit?

To reserve your wedding date, a non-refundable retainer of $1,500 and any applicable travel fee are due at the time of booking. The remaining balance is due 30 days before your wedding day. At this time, we do not offer payment plans.

Do you travel?

Accepted Answer

Absolutely! I love traveling to document weddings throughout Tennessee and beyond. There is no travel fee for weddings within 50 miles of Murfreesboro, TN. For locations beyond that, the travel fee is $0.70 per mile (round trip). If overnight accommodations or airfare are required, those costs will be discussed during the booking process.

How are my photos delivered?

Your final images are delivered through a beautiful online gallery where you can view, download, and share your photos with friends and family. You can also order professional-quality prints directly from your gallery or download the files to print wherever you’d like. Galleries remain active for 90 days, so we recommend downloading and backing up your images as soon as they’re delivered.

What is your turnaround time?

Accepted Answer

You’ll receive a selection of sneak peeks within 48 hours of your wedding. Your complete gallery will be delivered within three months, though many galleries are finished even sooner.

When should we schedule our engagement session?

Accepted Answer

I recommend scheduling your engagement session about six months before your wedding so you’ll have your photos ready for save-the-dates and wedding websites. If you have a longer engagement, you’re welcome to schedule your session as soon as you’re officially booked or wait for your favorite season, whether that’s spring blooms or fall foliage.

Do you use AI to edit your photos?

No, every image is individually edited by me to ensure a consistent, timeless editing style. While AI-assisted tools may occasionally be used for minor tasks such as removing distractions or temporary blemishes, your images are never batch-edited or creatively edited by AI.

How do you keep our photos safe?

Accepted Answer

Protecting your memories is one of our highest priorities. I photograph every wedding using cameras with dual memory card slots, meaning every image is recorded to two cards simultaneously. After your wedding, your RAW files are immediately backed up to two separate hard drives and securely stored in the cloud. Your memory cards are not formatted until your final gallery has been successfully delivered.

Do we need to provide a shot list?

Not for most of your wedding day! I encourage you to share any meaningful moments, heirlooms, or special requests, but you don’t need to provide a list of every pose. I’ll naturally guide you through portraits while documenting your day as it unfolds. I do, however, ask for a family photo list with names and groupings so we can keep family portraits organized and efficient.

Will you help us stay on schedule?

Absolutely! As a Type A wedding photographer, I help create a timeline that keeps your day running smoothly while allowing plenty of time for the moments that matter most. On your wedding day, I’m more than your photographer. I'm there to fluff your veil, zip dresses, pin boutonnières, solve last-minute problems, and keep everything on track so you can relax, be present, and enjoy every moment.

Can we add a second photographer?

Absolutely! A second photographer can be added to any wedding collection starting at $700, which includes up to five hours of coverage. Additional coverage is available for $50 per hour.

We’re awkward in front of the camera. Can you help?

Accepted Answer

You’re not alone, almost every couple tells us this! My job isn’t to make you model, it’s to help you feel comfortable together. I’ll gently guide you with natural prompts and movement so your photos feel genuine rather than overly posed. By the end of your session, it will feel less like a photoshoot and more like spending time with your favorite person while I happen to be documenting it.
